A little over 2 years ago I was lucky enough to meet The Applebee's, officially, at their daughter's birthday party. Our children had already known each other, and very soon after that our little boys started preschool together too. We quickly became friends (and neighbors), and we created many lifelong memories after that. I was honored to be asked to photograph them and their neighbors (who became family to them) just before they left town forever. It was a bittersweet day knowing this would be the last time I would really spend with them as a family, in their home.

While everyone was getting ready, I spent a few minutes capturing some still moments around the house.

After a few tears, we were ready to go.

We got a little silly. For the kids of course!

It is safe to say that we will miss this family more than we can say. The late night laughs, talks, dinners and bonding. We wish them all the best on their new life in Texas.
